In Christ Jesus, God covers us with His hand
But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” Then the Lord said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.” (Exodus 33:20-23)
As God puts you in a cleft in the rock, He protects you from the harms of this world. He covers us with His hand from condemnation in a cleft in the rock, as no one sees God and lives. He covers us with His hand to keep us firmly in place and from harm, in Jesus Christ.

In a cleft in the rock (see Mt. 16:18), God covers us with His hand from the harm of this world. So, we may live to see His resurrection in us. Knowing you and I, if God does not cover us with His hand, out of curiosity may die wanting to see the face of God. God covers us in Jesus Christ, His son.
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” (John 11:40)
We are protected in the name of His son, Jesus Christ.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus- (Romans 8:1)
